The therapeutic properties of Caratol-E in augmenting the re-pigmentation process are derived from the combined properties of its ingredients. There are several studies and publications that amplify the properties, besides the clinical experience since time immemorial.
Indication
Vitiligo & Hypo Pigmentory Disorders
Administration/ Dosage
Adults:
One capsule of CARATOL-E three times a day with water before food.
Children:
(above 10 yrs) One capsule twice a day with water before food.
Children:
(2 to 10 yrs) One capsule a day with water before food.
Intake not recommended for children below 2 years.
Exposure to sunlight for about 5 minutes, one hour after intake of the capsule is recommended. Concurrent application of Tolenorm Oil or Ointment ( product from Dr. JRK’s Siddha Research) is advised. Noticeable results can be seen after 6 to 12 weeks of treatment. Intake of BEKAY capsules (product from Dr.JRK’s Siddha Research) with Caratol-E capsules and topical Tolenorm helps in rapid melonisation.
Contra-indications
Not recommended during Pregnancy & Lactation.
In cases where sensitivity is noticed, severe erythema, itching etc.occur, duringb the treatment can be suspended till the sensitive reaction disappears. Medical advice may be sought if warranted.
