What is Caratol-E ?
Caratol-E is a compound preparation for the management of VITILIGO containing Herbo-Mineral compounds therapeutically identified in the ancient Siddha traditional formulations.
How does it help for management of VITILIGO?
The expected results in VITILIGO are noted by experiments and it is observed that the commencement of repigmentation starts within 10 weeks of treatment in combination with Tolenorm Oil/ Ointment.
How long the treatment should be continued?
The Combined treatment should be continued till repigmentation commences and sustain to progress. Thereafter on the advise of the consultant the therapy may be reviewed.
What is the composition of Caratol-E?
Smilax Chinensis, Withania somnifera, Elletaria cardomomum, Psoralia corylifolia, Embelia ribes, Conch turbinella rapa and Lingachenduram.
Is there any side effect in Caratol-E?
As per the observations and the clinical studies Caratol-E compound is safe the prescribed dosage. However the consultant is the competent person to advise on he duration of treatment.
It is advisable for Children?
It is recommended to children above 2 years on the advice of the consultant.
Can Caratol-E be combined with S.I.V.A drops internally for synergetic effect?
Yes, it is recommended to prescribe concurrently for sustained results.
