DANO - Anti Dandruff Hair Oil
 
Apply DANO after head bath when hair is dry.
Apply DANO over the scalp and rub well over the surface using finger ends.
DANO is presented in an easily absorbing and non-sticky form.
DANO is recommended for use as regular hair oil. Use of any other hair oil or creams therefore not necessary.
Wash hair regularly and clean the scalp with herbal hair care powders or formulations. For cleaning of hair, one could use either hot or cold soft water.

Each 5 ml contains

Semparathai (Hibiscus rosasinensis) :100mg
Vetpalai (Wrightia tinctoria ) :100mg
Seemai agathi (Cassia alata) :100mg
Vembu (Azadirachta indica) :100mg
Theengai ennai (Oleum Cocos nucifera) :Q.S

DANO – for all types of dandruff.
DANO has fungicidal activity against P. ovale and hence removes dandruff and prevents further recurrence.
DANO has broad spectrum antifungal activity.
DANO minimizes itching that is associated with dandruff.

Anti-pityrosporum activity of a herbal combination of Wrightia tinctoria and Hibiscus rosasinensis was tested in vitro against the isolates of Pityrosporum ovale recovered from dandruff .The drug combination exhibited fungicidal activity at a concentration ranging between 500 to 1000g/ml

Microbiological and Clinical Efficacy of Dano, a Siddha hair oil preparation was studied using In vitro Assay, Methylene Blue Reductase Test and Reduction of Severity of Dandruff Symptom – Scaling post use. The study findings show that Dano is the best drug of choice for the management of Dandruff. The findings are presented in the paper.
